The second post ...

This was supposed to be the second post, but I saved it as a draft and forgot all about it for almost a year until today ...

It's Thursday morning. I am at my work desk having breakfast of toasted cheese bagel accompanied by green tea - the Bigelow blend of green and earl grey ... my favorite for the morning. Working on today's schedule ... as the thought came to my mind ... the first step would be un-cluttering - So I would start working on un-cluttering at various levels ... question is whether you should go from outside to inside or inside to outside - I mean whether focus on mind first or the surroundings first? I think un-cluttering the surroundings that are under my control have some material benefit, so I would start with the surroundings first.

Suddenly I am seeing the wisdom in ancient traditions being followed in a ceremonial - ritualistic way ... Most of the day to day activities are so uninteresting for common mind that unless a ritual is made out of them, mind will not do those. Mind seems to be great follower of rituals but it also gets stuck in rituals and when circumstances make it necessary to drop all the rituals and act out of common sense, it doesn't do that.
